General info:

  • The work is done by hand, painted with watercolor, you will receive an original piece.
  • No portrait is delivered framed or with Marialuisa.
  • Paper size may vary by a few millimeters.
  • In products where you can choose several pets, it does not mean the number of individual works, the illustration is group. If you want a portrait for each pet, you must purchase the product for the number of pets you want to portray.
  • Photographs with good lighting are recommended, avoid strange perspectives, filters and blurs. It is possible to work with low resolution photos as long as you agree that this may affect the final result.
  • Full body illustrations only apply to 3 or more pets in the "anthropomorphic portrait" product, not applicable to the others.
  • The drawing is a portrait, it covers part of the chest and head, it does not include the body or legs or tail.
  • It does not include sketches or sending previous ideas, if you want to see sketches there is a separate charge.
  • Delivery time is around 2-6 weeks, when your work is ready to deliver you will receive an email with a photograph before being sent. If you need it for a specific date, please consult it using the form before placing the order.
  • All backgrounds are plain, you can suggest 2 colors, I will choose the one that best suits the portrait.
  • You must respond and send the information within 24 hours, otherwise your order will be canceled.
  • The longer it takes to send what you requested, the longer the waiting time will be.

When ordering, if your portrait is "pet":

You will receive an email with the order confirmation, reply to that email with the photos and information necessary to make the portrait . Do not change the subject or add extra words or information to it, or delete the information from the original email, only reply to that email with this information:
    1. Attach only 5 photographs in JPG format. Choose your favorite photo and rename it "BASE" (This will be the reference for the pose). The other 4 photographs will be references for color and characteristic details of your pet.
    2. Choose 2 colors, these will be used for the background (I will use the one that best suits you).
    3. If there are more than 1 pet, please attach 1 zip for each pet. (do not send 1 email per pet, this is confusing, you must do everything in 1 email). If you can't zip, rename all the photos, for example: pet1_base, pet1_photo1, pet1_photo2, pet1_photo3, etc (or you can use the name of your pet, for example: Brontë_base, Brontë1, Brontë2, Brontë3, Bronte 4 )
    • If you choose an anthropomorphic portrait: Attach images of the clothing you want him to wear. It is important but not necessary: if you tell me a little more about your pet, I will be able to use this information to make more special art.
    • If all the information is sent correctly you will not receive any confirmation email or similar.

When ordering, if your portrait is "a person":

    • I DO NOT DRAW PEOPLE , I draw animals that represent people.
    • You will receive an email with the order confirmation, reply to this email with the photos and information necessary to make the portrait. Do not change the subject or add extra words or information to it, or delete the information from the original email, only add what is requested.
    • Attach images or the scientific name of the animal I must portray.
    • Attach pictures of the clothes you want me to wear. It is important but not necessary: if you tell me a little more about that person, I will be able to use this information to make more special art.
    • Remember to place two color options for the background ;)
    • If all the information is sent correctly you will not receive any confirmation email or similar.

    Care:

    • It is important to frame the work to protect it from dust, UV rays, among others.
    • The technique is watercolor on paper, it is a technique that works with water, therefore if your work receives drops/jets of water directly this will immediately damage the pigmentation and therefore, the paper.
    • When framing there are different types of glass, some have UV protection, others do not.
    • Do not place your work in direct light or hang it on damp walls (for example, in the bathroom or garden).
    • Protect your work, even though it is made with very high quality materials, humidity and direct exposure to the sun will damage it in a short period of time.
