General information:

  • The work is done by hand, painted with watercolor, you will receive an original piece.
  • No portrait is delivered framed or with marialuisa.
  • Paper size may vary by a few millimeters.
  • In the products where you can choose several pets, it does not mean the number of individual works, the illustration is a group one. If you want a portrait for each pet you must purchase the product for the number of pets you want to portray.
  • It is recommended to take photos with good lighting, avoid strange perspectives, filters and blurring. It is possible to work with low resolution photos as long as you agree that this may affect the final result.
  • Full body illustrations only apply to 3 or more pets in the "anthropomorphic portrait" product, not applicable to the others.
  • The drawing is a portrait, it covers part of the chest and the head, it does not include the body, legs or tail.
  • It does not include sketches or sending previous ideas. If you want to see sketches, this will be charged separately.
  • Delivery time is around 2-6 weeks. When your work is ready to be delivered, you will receive an email with a photo before it is sent. If you need it for a specific date, please contact us using the form before placing your order.
  • All backgrounds are plain, you can suggest 2 colors, I will choose the one that best matches the portrait.
  • You must respond and send the information within 24 hours, otherwise your order will not ship on the estimated dates.
  • You must send all the information by replying to the "order confirmed" email.

When ordering, if your portrait is "pet":

You will receive an email confirming your order. Please reply to that email with the photos and information needed to create your portrait . Do not change the subject or add any extra words or information to it, or delete any information from the original email. Just reply to that email with this information:
    1. Please attach only 5 photos in JPG format. Choose your favorite photo and rename it "BASE" (This will be the reference for the pose). The other 4 photos will be references for color and characteristic details of your pet.
    2. Choose 2 colors, these will be used for the background (I will use the one that suits me best).
    3. If there is more than 1 pet, please attach 1 zip for each pet. (do not send 1 email per pet, this is confusing, you must do it all in 1 email). If you cannot zip, rename all the photos, for example: pet1_base, pet1_photo1 , pet1_photo2, pet1_photo3, etc. (or you can use the name of your pet, for example: Brontë_base, Brontë1, Brontë2, Brontë3, Brontë 4 )
    • If you choose an anthropomorphic portrait: Please attach images of the clothes you would like your pet to wear. It is important but not necessary: if you tell me a little more about your pet, I will be able to use this information to make more special art.
    • If all the information is sent correctly you will not receive any confirmation email or similar.

When ordering, if your portrait is "one person":

    • I DON'T DRAW PEOPLE , I draw animals that represent people.
    • You will receive an email confirming your order. Please reply to this email with the photos and information needed to create your portrait. Do not change the subject or add any extra words or information to it, or delete any information from the original email, just add what is requested.
    • Attach images or the scientific name of the animal that I need to photograph.
    • Please attach images of the clothes you would like them to wear. It is important but not necessary: if you tell me a little more about that person, I will be able to use this information to make more special art.
    • Remember to put two color options for the background ;)
    • If all the information is sent correctly you will not receive any confirmation email or similar.

    Care:

    • It is important to frame the work to protect it from dust, UV rays, among others.
    • The technique is watercolor on paper, it is a technique that works with water, therefore if your work receives drops/jets of water directly, this will immediately damage the pigmentation and therefore the paper.
    • When framing there are different types of glass, some have UV protection, some do not.
    • Do not place your artwork in direct light or hang it on damp walls (for example, in the bathroom or garden)
    • Protect your work, even though it is made with very high quality materials, humidity and direct exposure to the sun will damage it in a short period of time.
